栗本薰 (1953-2009) -《豹头王传说》

原名今冈纯代，生于日本东京。早稻田大学文学部毕业。1976年以评论文《都筑道夫的生活与推理》获得第二届"幻影城"新人佳作赏，1977年再用笔名中岛梓以《文学的轮廓》获得第二十届"群像"新人赏。1978年，以栗本薰名义发表《无可救药的时代》，获得第24届江户川乱步奖。之后便以作家栗本薰、评论家中岛梓的名义陆续发表作品，创作内容涵盖多种领域，包括科幻、幻想、推理、时代小说、评论、散文等等。

以栗本薰为笔名所发表的作品有《豹头王传说》、《无可救药的时代》、《魔界水浒传》、《帕罗斯之剑》等多部作品。2010年，以《豹头王传说》获得“星云奖”。在文学之外，栗本薰也活跃于各个领域——包括歌舞伎剧本、音乐剧脚本、作词、作曲、导演、舞台监制、ＣＤ制作、以爵士乐手的身份举办音乐会等。于2009年5月26日病逝，享年56岁。-

Kurimoto Kaoru (1953-2009) - Author of Guin Saga

Born in Tokyo, graduated from the Literary Department of Waseda University. In 1976, she was named the Best New Author in the second Fantasy City Award program with a critique article. In 1977, with the pen name Azusa Nakajima, she was named the Best New Authors in the 20th Group Photo-Op Award program. In 1978, using the pen name of Kurimoto Kaoru, she won the 24th Edogawa Ranpo Prize. Later, she published works under two pen names simultaneously. Her works include a big variety, such as sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, contemporary, critique, and prose.

Using the pen name of Kurimoto Kaoru, she published major works such as Guin Saga, Our Era, Makai Sui Koten, and The Sword of Paros. In 2010, in recognition of her achievements with Guin Saga, she won the Seiun Award. Apart from literature, she is also active in other fields, such as Geisha scriptures, musicals, lyrics, composing, movie directing, choreography, CD production, and jazz music. She died on 26 May 2009 at the age of 56.
